Remy Robert

Founding Scientist

Dr Robert is currently leading the Therapeutic Antibodies for Inflammation laboratory at the Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI), Monash University.

He completed his PhD at Université Bordeaux II specializing in antibody engineering and development and during his career has worked across various therapeutic areas ranging from cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, cancer, neurological disorders, and autoimmunity. Dr Robert has significant expertise in raising mAbs against difficult targets, advanced antibody engineering, and the use of sophisticated human knock-in disease models to generate and validate new bio-therapeutics ready for human clinical trials. His primary research goal has always been to make a significant bridge between academic and translational medicine to deliver new therapeutic monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of inflammatory disorders and cancers.
